Thaipusam in Penang is a widely celebrated event, not only for fellow indians, but also for some chinese

Crowd will gather along the road to smash coconuts onto the floor, if the coconut is broken, it means that your wish will be fulfilled

Devotees at Penang and neighbouring states will gather at Penang Island, they walk miles just to worship their God

NOTE : just like 9 emperor Gods, those "medium" in state of trance will not feel painful even if their face and body is pierced

Every year end at Penang, from November to December, there's a major event called the Penang Carnival or so called the fun fair

I believe this is a favourite event for youngster and kids, with so many games to play, there's no such thing as boring and tiring

As for big kids, apart from the games, you can find a lot of hawkers selling souvenir, food & beverages etc

Not a big hit, but still something refreshing for first timer

if you love to have yourself surrounded by fish and crystal clear water, you gotta come here, Payar Island Marine Park

Be cautious though, Payar Island has not only small cute fish, but big fish too! like ... sharks!

You can access to Payar Island via Penang, the ferry from Penang to Payar Island is only about 1 hour 30 min, enjoy yourself in a warm tropical sea, don't forget to come back to Penang Island, heheh!

Via Penang Port Swettenham, there's one place you can go, that is Langkawi Island.

from Penang to Langkawi Island via Langkawi ferry is about 2 hour 30 min, one of my priority job is to drive my passengers to and fro Langkawi Jetty.

You can rent a chalet at the beach resort or simply go for a self-guided tour around the island

The War Museum is cited as one of the most haunted place in Asia, I wouldn't go in there too!
But, at your request, i can drive you to the entrance, you alone will have to tour around, lets hope, nothing will happen, so that i could drive you back in one piece, heh!
There's many ghost stories heard since the establishment of the War Museum, it's so eerie that i could have my goose bumps just for writing this, okay, i'm starting to feel something is around me right now...
