This is yet another heavyweight parade of the year - The 9 EmperorGods Festival, held only from the eve of lunar calendar 9th month, from Day 1st to Day 9th.
During this period, devotees will have to take only vegetarian meals, some for 9 or even 10 days, some for the last 3 days.
The 9 EmperorGods Temple will be open for worshipping and offerings.At night, there will be a series of activities like step through a fire path, dive into a boiled wok with bare hands etc. On the 9th day, a major parade will be held, to "send" the Gods back into the sea.
